Q:Is there any elements that can be added to aluminum to create any compound?
Which industries? while you're actually not greater particular the checklist can pass on perpetually. i'm going to checklist some nonetheless: Hydrogen-Used to make ammonia and for hydrogenation techniques like the production of liquid fuels and margarine. Ammonia-Used to make fertilizer for agriculture. Sulfuric acid-fabric ending, prescribed drugs, pesticides, oil-nicely acidification, preserving coatings, purification of petrol, manufacture of detergents, explosives....... Carbon-Used for all smelting of metals Iron-For the production of steel. Oxygen-Steelmaking, paint pigment, welding, rocket gas. As you may locate the checklist is getting ridiculous. Sulfuric acid is the main used yet you may look this info up in any good inorganic chemistry textbook.
Q:How much is one ton of aluminum coil?
The price of aluminum sheet is calculated according to the price of aluminum ingot + processing fee (aluminum plate state), and the specific price is also different according to the size and size of aluminum sheet. If you have any questions, please ask. I hope to help you.
Q:Is there any way aluminum can affect you if its absorbed into your body either by digestion, through an open cut, or even through breathing it in?Most likely inhaling it would surely affect you, but what about the other two?
Aluminium can accumulate in the brain possibly causing alzheimers. If you inhaled it it would poison you and damage your lungs, if you got it in your body it would damage your skin, possibly cause an infection and the cut might not heal. Aluminium is a solid so how could you accidently get it in your body unless you have been melting it etc? If it wasn't solid it would burn you if you got it on your skin. You can only inhale vapours not a metal. If you ate it then it would probably damage or clog up your insides otherwise just pass out in a stool, depends how much you ate. People eat from aluminium and touch it every day so it is not dangerous to be in contact with.
Q:We had a BBQ a few days ago and left our pack of aluminum foil on the table out side. It rained that night and the following night. I went out to take the trash out and heard a odd noise. It was the pack of foil boiling hot. The water from the rain was steaming out of it. When I picked it up you could feel the warmth coming from the center of it.It was 2 days after the BBQ, was never near the heat of that. It was on a separate table. The table is shaded all day, so it didn't heat from the sun. Plus aluminum does not transfer heat.It just don't make since to me. I unrolled some of it and it is dark grey from being heated so hot. I never heard of it and tried to find info, but to no avail. So out of curiosity I am asking.
Aluminium is one of the best conductors of heat so the effect may have been a rare entropic incident where the water rapidly evaporated due to the warmth of the air. What's more likely is that the aluminium was exposed to the water and the rain was slightly penetrative. Aluminium usually has aluminium oxide protection to protect against corrosion and reaction but something may have depleted that layer causing a reaction and the gas you saw steaming wasn't water but hydrogen gas.
Q:I am a college student living in a private apartment and I use up lots of aluminium foils to cook and eat. I use aluminium foils as plates because I am too lazy to clean plates. I want to know how environment-unfriendly i am for doing so. How bad am I compared to the guy who keeps on drinking from cans without recycling them?
Aluminium foil is less than 0.2mm thick but typically 0.02mm so a piece 300mm x 100mm has a total volume of 3 x 1 x 2 x 10^2 mm^3 that is 600 mm^3 The density of Al is 2700 kg/m^3 so the mass of your foil is 2700 x 600 /10^9 kg = 0.00162 kg = 1.62 g Modern aluminium cans weigh about 15g I take it you aren't studying either physics or mathematics or you would easily have workd it out!
Q:Aluminum roll, which companies are used?
Too many things that you can see every day, with all the things that are made of aluminum, and the companies that make these aluminum products are useful, so it's unclear!
Q:Other than alloys. I'm trying to think of a way I can make an aluminum knife that will hold an edge. One group of researches say they used 60 metric tons of force to realign the molecular structure and give the metal strength equal to steel. I don't have a 60 ton press aha. Would heat treatment plus 10 tons of pressure repeated have a similar affect?
Aluminum bronze is used commercially to make non-sparking knives. Why try to reinvent the wheel? I'm trying to think of a way I can make an aluminum knife that will hold an edge. You can strengthen aluminum by either cold working or heat treating a suitable alloy, but it will never be anything close to a good steel knife. Would heat treatment plus 10 tons of pressure repeated have a similar affect? No. Assuming that you are talking about the article linked to below: - you would have to duplicate the alloy process, even then you could only make a small thin sheet. They used a heat treatable alloy. The process involves torsional strain under 60 metric tons per square centimeter compression. How big a press do you think you would need for a knife size blank? And remember, you have to apply torsional cold work while compressing it. -Their results ( 1 gPA YS 5% elongation in a very thin sheet) don't look that great compared to a good knife steel. Or a good titanium knife.
Q:How much cube is the 0.9mm aluminum rolling?
This is a common problem. Anyone who had received high school education can calculate it very quickily. One way is to calculate sectional area with circular area, then times the thickness of the aluminum rolling. Another way is to use the outer diameter circular area to subtract the core area and then times the thickness of aluminum rolling.
Q:Can the color coated aluminum roll be bent easily and won't break?
Weathering resistance. The weight of a unit volume is the lightest of all metal materials. It is widely used in fields such as pigments, balcony packaging, and is not susceptible to corrosion. It is durable and beautiful in appearance. Specially applied to the interior of public places, colour coated aluminium rolls have become one of the most popular top decorative materials: polyester coated aluminum rolls (PE). According to the surface film forming structure, fluorocarbon coating can be divided into two kinds: traditional fluorocarbon and nano fluorocarbon coating. The biggest advantage is that the strength of the fluorocarbon coating is incomparable. It is a new type of material which has recently emerged in the field of doors and windows.
Q:Its got probably 330 horses right now with aluminum heads what do you think it be approx.
id need a lot more details than you have furnished here to answer your question accurately.....
