- Q:I'm moving and I just bought a sleigh bed. I've never had one before. Do I need to buy a bed skirt when I get my new sheets. I haven't seen any in the catalogs I've looked at. I don't have a clue about this stuff!
- You never NEED a bed skirt. If your bed sits high then I'd suggest you not get one would look weird seeing as most skirts are designed to touch/almost touch the floor great for those ppl that like hiding stuff under their bed. My guest bedroom has a sleigh bed which is kinda high off the ground and my husband and I have a bed that I need a little step up to get into neither has a bedskirt would look kinda tacky. Depending on how high your bed sets should determine if you'd want to skirt it or not

- Good Grief! After muddling through that paragraph-long run-on sentence, I think I can give you an answer. Get the d____ bed. Even if someone else has the same exact bed, it will be okay because you will have different bedding and furniture. So the beds will look different. Further, what you and/or your friend like today may be something you can't stand next year. Your tastes will change. So if you want the bed, get it. A bed is not worth the drama, believe me. In the great scheme of things, it's not that big of a deal.

- i've had beds from all four of those places and the best thing i ever did was go buy one of those foam mattress tops for a human bed. once my 'orthopedic' dog beds broke down i simply opened them up and re-stuffed them with the foam and it made a sturdier bed that was so much better on the joints. and they lasted about 2 years before i had to replace the insert i made. it's a cheaper and better quality alternative.

- Q:I dont want them climbing on a bunk bed. A trundle bed seems good but I dont know much about how safe they are. Some one mentioned a Captians bed, I dont know what that is. What do you guys think?
- The only thing with a trundle bed is that they are going to fight over which one gets which one. I don't know what a Captains bed is either. For my daughter we just got a twin box spring/mattress and just used that, that way if she falls off, it's not a long drop and she can get up onto it easily. Depending on how old your kids are, the one on the top part of the trundle bed could roll off onto the child that is on the lower part. You could get two box spring/mattresses and have them sleep on that instead of sharing a bed or something like sharing a bed. Good Luck and I hope I have helped you.
